Body Control Pilates Classes

Complete Beginners - or new to Body Control Pilates |

Must have completed a Beginners Course |

For those who have completed 3-4 blocks of classes |

Classes will be run at a very sedate pace. Appropriate for beginners who are a little nervous of exercise and especially for those with conditions such as osteoporosis, joint replacement, chronic fatigue syndrome or other medical issues. |

Pilates
is great during pregnancy. It
is
a gentle exercise method. It helps you to adapt to changes in
your body during pregnancy and assists in developing skills
usful in labour. The range of classes prepares you for the birth of your baby. Through the course of your classes you will strengthen postural muscles, increase body awareness through movement, and learn relaxation and breathing control. Suitable from 16 weeks of pregnancy until the birth of the baby, assuming you are medically fit to continue. Please discuss attending these classes with your midwife / doctor. |

Pilates
is ideal as your first post-natal
exercise class. It is a gentle exercise method which will lay
the foundations to improve your posture and re-discover your figure
after the birth of your baby. It is a time to focus on your
body and to find a place of stillness in the bustle of early
motherhood. If your baby was born recently, or by C-section, please first discuss attending Pilates classes with your midwife / health visitor / GP. |

your long lost pelvic floor muscles!
For
those experiencing bladder problems or prolapse symptoms, or want to
avoid them. Learn how to have a happy bladder and become
reaquainted with your pelvic floor muscles. A one hour session including: simple practice exercises, advice and demonstration of the latest equipment. |
